About

I am a qualified Play and Creative Arts Therapist who retired in April 2019. I had worked with young people in special education for over 40 years and was looking for suitable volunteer work to make use of my play and creative arts skills. What an absolute stroke of good luck to discover Super Siblings and hear all about their much-needed, up-and-coming clubs for siblings. Sophie, the director, is an engaging, passionate, determined, thoughtful, caring young mum who is on a mission to support as many siblings as possible in the local area. I call her Super Sophie!! What a thrill to be part of this young, enthusiastic team who care very much about all young people.

Super Siblings offer a unique space where siblings can meet and engage with other siblings. Giving these young people the opportunity to play together, laugh together and talk with each other will offer pathways towards unique friendships. This is their time and they will help us to understand their likes and dislikes and what works for them. We will walk gently beside them, ever aware of their special role in the family. Most of all we want to have fun!!
