About Us

Our Story

Sibling support

Having a sibling with additional needs can be difficult for children. From not fully understanding the situation to feeling isolated and alone, Super Siblings need space to simply be kids and have fun.

Play, learn and socialise

Super Siblings is a safe space for children to socialise with others who understand their situation in a welcoming, environment designed to relieve children of any mental and emotional strain they may have.

Our Values

Putting children first

Siblings of children with additional needs can face extra challenges but may not always feel able to voice their concerns. At Super Siblings everything we do is focused on children and creating an environment in which they feel safe and happy.

Create positive experiences

Life at home may centre around hospital appointments or health visitors, but at Super Siblings the focus is on creating activities that kids will love and that help them to develop life skills.

Focused support

From encouraging positive relationship building and enabling children to create bonds with others facing similar life challenges, to fun activities and resources, Super Siblings offers a range of ways to support children, all delivered with love and care.

Our Story

Our son Karson was born with a rare brain condition as well as having a brain haemorrhage when he was just 3 days old. This has resulted in Karson suffering with 4 Limb Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy and Global Developmental Delay.

During this time of being in and out of hospital, emergency ambulance rides and our older daughter having to be picked up from school by different family members, it was hard not to see just how greatly it was affecting Karson’s sister, Elyse.

And that’s how Super Siblings came about. Children need a time where they can just be kids and not have to worry about medications, being dragged along to hospital appointments and having to sit quietly whilst mum and dad have health visitors and other professionals regularly visiting their home. They need a space to spend time with other children who simply get it.

Super Siblings is that space.
