Emma Castle

Volunteer

Hi everyone 👋

I’m Emma.C…
I work in the Youth Justice Targeted Support Team at Surrey County Council,  we are a part of children’s services. My background and qualifications are in youth work. I used to run 3 youth centres in Reigate and Banstead until the government took all the funding away!

I have been working with young people for 13 years and absolutely love it, the naughtier the better for me! 🤣.

I have 3 amazing children who drive me nuts daily! Aaron who 16 in a few weeks  (this scares the life out of me), Oliver is 14 and super sibling Hollie who is 9. Between the boys they have different things going on, ASD, ADHD,ODD, sensory processing so they keep me on my toes. Oliver never sleeps which is the reason I always look like a zombie 🧟‍♀️ 🤣.

I absolutely love my job and helping young people build their confidence and self esteem, giving young people a safe space to be themselves and flourish is amazing to watch and be a part of.
Watching all the work that goes on in super siblings is amazing and I really wanted to be a part of this amazing team, to help more children have that special place to be themselves, chill out, grow as people and build their confidence and self esteem.

Lovely to meet you all and I can’t wait to get started! 🥰
